The story deals with children of Yugoslav so called "Gastarbeiters" who return to their homeland in the critical age between childhood and adolescence and face inevitable problems too difficult to cope with. Everyone tries his best to escape chaos, for family, school or the society do not offer any real help. Girls and boys of the "nobody's generation," nailed between the rock and a hard place and seeking for the way out, are well off, but their lives are in essence difficult, impoverished and uncertain.
