Fair in Šabac - the biggest of its kind in Yugoslavia, is a typical Balkan celebration, lasting 3 days and 3 nights. Buying and selling of cattle, cars, clothes, vine and brandy, surrounded by a chaos made of folk music bands, singers and trumpeters. There is also a circus with lions and  elephants, magicians, gamblers, fortune tellers and frauds.
Zilniks portrays this world, showing both tragic and comic side of the culture which forces those people to loose their control for 3 days, and then suffer the whole year after.
